What is the best way to meet people in a new city or a new country
?
By inviting people to try their hand at learning home Italian cooking.
In the past, we started lessons as our hobby. We offered lessons
in Switzerland and UK. Everyone enjoyed the lesson and food. It
is our pleasure to meet more people and see their smiles through
these lessons.
We have been here in Belgium since 2002 and enjoy being in such
an attractive and gastranomically rich country. Here again to meet
new people, we organized these events on weekends. Each time we
invited a few people who loved both cooking and Italian food. It
was such a pleasure to cook and enjoy the food together. In a friendly,
warm, fun atmosphere, we spent a day with old and new friends.
Since summer 2006, we have started CucinaMondo officially to offer
cooking
lessons and dinner
parties services. For us this is one small dream come true.
Now we can arrange lessons not only on weekends, but also on weekdays
and extend popularity of our services to the wider community in
Belgium.

Vincenzo Girardi - Cooking teacher

Vincenzo normally leads the lesson. He is of Italian descent
though born in UK. His parents are both from the south of
Italy. He was raised with good Italian food cooked by his
mother.
His mother is really a good cook and she spends most of her
time in the kitchen. He learned how to cook simple and delicious
Italian food from her.

Like his mother he also enjoys having people around the table.
That is why we decided to offer lessons to share the pleasure
of cooking. He has recently completed a catering business
course with distinction to add to his cooking talents.

Location
The location is in Uccle in front of the beautiful Wolvendael park.
All the family can enjoy it.
